About screw compressor

Rotary screw compressors use a positive displacement principle. They feature two interlocking helical screws (rotors) housed in a casing:

1. Suction: Air enters the compressor and is trapped between the "male" and "female" rotors.

2. Compression: As the rotors turn, the space between them decreases, forcing the air into a smaller volume and increasing the pressure.

3. Discharge: The highly pressurized air is pushed out through a discharge valve into a storage tank or directly to tools.
